Finding Inner Light in the Dark:
The Dark Retreat Tradition in the Yuthok Nyingthig
with Dr. Nida Chenagtsang
SATURDAY MAY 17 • California 9am | New York 12pm | Rome 6pm | Check your time zone
Join us online this Saturday for the launch of our project to build Dark Retreat cabins at Yuthok Ling in Arce, Italy.
In today's world of constant stimulation and endless distractions, we often struggle with having the physical and mental space to go deeper into our spiritual development.
The Dark Retreat (Tibetan: མུན་མཚམས། mun tsham) is an advanced Dzogchen togal practice where one spends a set amount of time in complete darkness. This ancient Tibetan tradition is one of the most profound methods for self-realization practiced by masters and yogis for generations, following secret instructions and teachings passed down through an unbroken lineage. By completely removing light, we awaken our own innate, powerful potential for self healing and inner clarity.
Dr. Nida Chenagtsang will give us an online introduction to the tradition of the Dark Retreat in the Yuthok Nyingthig as transmitted to him by his precious Dzogchen and Dark Retreat guru, Yogi Karjid Koolo Rinpoche.
See The Dark Retreat Arce Project for more details.
