SCHEDULE:

FRIDAY JANUARY 30
Explore the Winter season through the philosophy of Sowa Rigpa with Dr. Nida Chenagtsang. Winter is the season of the water element, linked to the kidneys and bladder—our foundations of endurance, stamina, and emotional grounding. As nature slows, our own physiology follows: metabolism decreases, energy is conserved, and the mind moves into a quieter and introspective state. This shift can make us more vulnerable to fatigue, low mood, and stagnation. Dr. Nida offers practical methods to nourish kidney energy, support emotional balance, build resilience, and maintain inner warmth. Blending traditional medical wisdom with accessible lifestyle guidance, this session brings steadiness and motivation through the darkest months of the year.

SATURDAY JANUARY 31
Join Liz Sung for a Tibetan yoga and meditation session designed to counter Winter fatigue, stagnation, and emotional heaviness. This dynamic practice integrates breathwork, movement, and guided reflection to warm the inner body, refresh the mind, and re-energize during the hibernation season.

SUNDAY FEBRUARY 1
Master herbalist and acupuncturist Dr. Edward Coughlin, AP, DOM introduces Winter’s most effective plant allies. Learn about the seasonal herbs that support warmth, kidney health, and circulation. This workshop includes a demonstration of a medicine formula for Winter ailments.
